[META] UA! We still have problems

Hello again, I'm sorry for posting all these [meta] questions, but there really is no other way of communicating with all the important people in this community. While looking over the past month or so, not much has changed. There is an improvement in quality of questions, although I don't think it's by very much (there are still stupid questions getting approved from the queue). It seems like some people are learning and it's all quite peaceful. But more recently I have gotten annoyed by something: I have about 5 questions that I have answered (In one way or another), that should be either closed or my answer accepted. I have written multiple comments asking the OP to do exactly that, but nothing has happened. Occasionally someone with high enough Karma comes past to do something about it, but that doesn't happen very often. What I'm trying to get at, is that this community is growing very rapidly, but the amount of people able to manage it are not. Thos of us who at least try to do the right thing, but don't have much time (like me), can't gain the Karma to be able to do the right thing. Some suggestions I've come up with include: -Just plain lowering the minimum Karma level for doing more adminy stuff -Increasing the Karma gain for certain people (now quite sure how to do this) -Having an easy access system for high karma people to give karma to others (extra rewards) -Adding a separate queue for things the high karma people should check, to which lower karma people can add to. (To Do List) -Mark Questions with a special markers saying: look at this or do something about this... etc I know It's a big ask, but could something be done about this problem? Does anyone have any other suggestions? Does anyone have any other opinions, Is it just me?? Another problem I think we have, is that there is no way of contacting all the people that matter, especially with [meta] stuff. It would be really nice if there was a mailing list or something, so stuff like this could be done someplace else? I just feel really guilty for asking a question that shouldn't be on UA (Even though I use the meta tag) Thanks again, Benproductions1
